Many have asked about the price list for the desk and here it is:
2x Pine (I think) 3/4” Plywood (used for top and legs) - $40
A Sheet of Black Formica (used for legs and edge) - $20
A gallon of satin finish water-based clear (we already had this) - $15
A 3M Spray Adhesive (forgot what it was) - $6
Time - A weekend (4 days total for top to dry)
Total - $81
My dad and I built this when I came down for my Christmas break at the end of 2009. We had all the workshop, hardware, and tools, so I can’t really put a price on that. The desk can be taken apart into three main sections: the top, the wire/storage box, and legs. All connected with nuts and bolts.
